LONDON: Endemol Worldwide Distribution has picked up three new factual series from Sirens Media, all of which were commissioned by Discovery’s ID network.

Who the Bleep Did I Marry? is a 12×30-minute series about men and women who thought they were happily married until one day they discovered secrets about their spouse. I Was Murdered, also a 12×30-minute offering, is a murder story told in first person by the victims themselves. The viewer must piece together the mystery based on clues provided by investigators and family/friends. The 6×1-hour Murder on Main Street looks at mysterious murders that took place in the middle of a tight-knit community.

Cathy Payne, the chief executive of Endemol Worldwide Distribution, said: “EWD are thrilled to be embarking on a relationship with Sirens Media with such a high-quality package. These thought provoking programs will no doubt generate enormous interest when they are launched at MIPCOM 2010 and MIPTV 2011.”

“These three new series represent passion projects for us, featuring new and innovative ways to look at crime. We’re delighted to be partnering with Endemol on them,” said Valerie Haselton, a partner at Sirens Media.
