LONDON: Talent from the new drama series Low Winter Sun, a co-production between Endemol Studios and AMC Studios, and the comedian and talk-show host Steve Harvey are coming to MIPTV as guests of Endemol.

The actors Mark Strong (Zero Dark Thirty) and Lennie James (Hung, The Walking Dead) will be in Cannes with show runner Chris Mundy (Criminal Minds, Cold Case) on behalf of the new crime drama Low Winter Sun. The show launches on AMC later this year. The talent will take part in a press conference with representatives from Endemol Studios that will be held on April 8 in the Blue Lounge in the Palais.

The TV personality, comedian and author Steve Harvey will be in Cannes to promote his hit U.S. syndicated daytime series Steve Harvey. The show is produced by Endemol USA and is sold by NBCUniversal, with Endemol Worldwide Distribution handling the distribution outside of the U.S. A special cocktail party for buyers and press will be held at the Carlton Hotel on April 8.

Cathy Payne, the CEO of Endemol Worldwide Distribution, said, “We are proud to be bringing talent of this caliber to the 50th anniversary of MIPTV for two very different shows; both created, produced and distributed by Endemol. The drama of Low Winter Sun is defined by grit and action whilst the fabulous Steve Harvey delivers nothing but humor and entertainment.”
