EM.TV Releases Half-Year Results

UNTERFOEHRING, August 22: EM.TV has reported a 21-percent
increase in revenues for the first half of this year to 122 million euros, with
a profit of 200,000 euros.

Sales in the second quarter amounted to 61.8 million euros,
a 24.9 percent gain on the previous year, led in part by the company’s sports
division. Second quarter profit was 700,000 euros, an improvement on the 2.2
million euros loss last year.

EBITDA amounted to 13.9 million euros in the first half of
the year, a 13-percent increase. For the second quarter, it was 6.6 million
euros, a 46.7-percent increase.

At the sports segment (the TV station DSF, the production
company PLAZAMEDIA, the online-platform Sport1 and marketing rights for the
merchandising of the 2006 FIFA World Cup), sales were up by 17.7 percent to
104.2 million euros in the first six months of 2006.

The entertainment segment delivered revenues of 17.6 million
euros in the first half-year, up from 11 million euros.
