EM.Sport Media Delivers First-Half Gains

UNTERFOEHRING, August 21: EM.Sport Media (formerly EM.TV)
has recorded revenues of 111.7 million euros in the first half of the year, a
7.1-percent gain, with a profit of 3.4 million euros.

Werner E. Klatten, the chairman of the management board of
EM.Sport Media, commented: “We are
extremely satisfied with the first half-year. Our sporting activities have
again developed on an excellent note. They have shown organic growth, have
increased their earnings power and have developed competitive positions. We are
well prepared for a successful second half-year. The results of the first six
months underline once again the strategic decision to concentrate fully on
sporting activities in the future.”

For the second quarter, meanwhile, revenues were down 2.7
percent to 57 million euros, with an EBITDA of 8 million euros.
