NEEDHAM: Echo Bridge Entertainment has entered into an exclusive sales agreement with Active Entertainment and producer Ken Badish to internationally distribute a slate of three sci-fi disaster films, including Ice Comets and Arachnoquake.

Ice Comets is about a highly concentrated piece of antimatter that barrels through the atmosphere, creating electrical storms and threatening to destroy Earth.

In Arachnoquake, an earthquake hits a town unexpectedly, releasing a species of deadly spiders that escape from the planet’s inner core.

Echo Bridge will also arrange international sales for Ghostquake, which centers on a group of students trapped in a school after an earthquake releases a time capsule and a ghostly girl who possesses the faculty.

Dan March, the president international of Echo Bridge Entertainment, said: “Active Entertainment is an industry leader in producing premium, CGI-driven TV movies that appeal to global audiences. We are very pleased to continue this successful collaboration and this new slate fits perfectly with Echo Bridge’s overall growth strategy of increasing our acquisitions of original, first-run quality movies for our international partners."
