Echo Bridge Takes on Ten New Sci-Fi Films

NEEDHAM/LOS ANGELES: Echo Bridge Entertainment has secured an exclusive sales agreement with Active Entertainment and producer Ken Badish to internationally distribute a slate of ten new sci-fi disaster TV movies.

Echo Bridge Entertainment has entered into a sales agency agreement where it will be exclusively arranging all international sales on ten new sci-fi disaster movies with producer Ken Badish and Active Entertainment. The films are scheduled to be delivered at a rate of two movies per year. The first titles are Firefight, currently in post-production, and Swampshark, currently in preproduction. The next raft of films to be released through the deal—Stormbringer, World on Fire and Sun Strike—are in the development stage.

"We are thrilled to add these high quality disaster films to our lineup," said Dan March, the executive VP of Echo Bridge. "Active Entertainment has a proven track record in producing high-quality, CGI-effects-driven films that continually generate great ratings. We’re excited to bring these movies to our broadcast clients as the disaster genre always resonates with international audiences."

"We are confident that with Echo Bridge as our international sales partners, our new slate of movies will be available on a broad range of international channels and broadcasters will achieve the same success as our previous films have had on Syfy in the U.S,” added Badish, president of Active Entertainment.
