ECCA Rebrands as Cable Europe

BRUSSELS/AMSTERDAM, September 11: The European Cable
Communications Association has undertaken a rebranding process with a new name,
Cable Europe, as well as a new corporate identity.

The association reflects the interests of cable-TV operators
in Europe. “The new name and logo will help us to better deliver our story,”
said the organization’s managing director, Caroline Van Weede. “Cable is unique
in competing against the telecom incumbents with its own network, already
delivering telephone, broadband Internet, digital television and many more
services to over 64 million households in Europe.”

Further, the ECCA Congress now becomes Cable Congress. It
takes place February 6 to 8 in Amsterdam at the Okura Hotel.
