E1’s The Bridge Gets March Debut on CTV

TORONTO: Canada’s CTV has slated three new original series, including the drama The Bridge, to launch next month following its coverage of the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.

CTV’s Monday night comedy block expands to two hours on March 1, with the new series Hiccups, starring Corner Gas‘ co-star Nancy Robertson, in the 8 p.m. slot. At 8:30 p.m., Corner Gas alum Fred Ewanuick stars in the original comedy Dan for Mayor. The block is rounded out by the return of Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, following at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively.

The highly anticipate E1 drama The Bridge makes its series debut on March 5 at 9 p.m. with a special two-hour premiere. The show, which stars Battlestar Galactica‘s Aaron Douglas, then moves to its regular Friday 10 p.m. slot on March 12.
