E1 Starts Production on New Original Comedy Series

HALIFAX: E1 Entertainment, Amaze Film + Television and Big Motion Pictures have announced that principal photography is under way on the original comedy series Call Me Fitz (working title), which will air on The Movie Network and Movie Central in 2010.

The series stars Jason Priestley of Beverly Hills, 90210 fame as a used car salesman known as Fitz. After he botches a test drive and puts his latest customer in a coma, Fitz finds himself face to face with a new salesman on the lot: Larry, a do-gooder with a heart of gold. Larry, played by Ernie Grunwald (King of the Hill, My Name is Earl), becomes a moral anchor for Fitz.

The 13×30-minute series is filming until mid January.
