E1 Seals NATPE Sales

LAS VEGAS: E1 Entertainment has closed a range of deals at NATPE, with titles such as Majority Rules, Stormworld and Remedy Me heading to pay TV in Latin America.

The tween comedy Majority Rules was sold to Cartoon Network. The series revolves around the life of Becky, whose world is turned upside down as she juggles friends, family, high school, relationships and politics.

Stormworld was picked up by HBO Ole. The sci-fi teen series, which will premiere in March, follows Jason and Lee, who get caught in a swirling vortex.

The lifestyle series Remedy Me and Skin Deep were sold to Discovery. Remedy Me each week follows two different people suffering from the same disagreeable ailments and have exhausted their options with conventional medicine and are ready to try something new. Skin Deep presents the emotional journey taken by the increasing number of women and men who feel driven to alter their bodies.

“I am delighted with the sales,” commented Valerie Cabrera, the executive VP of the international TV group for E1 Entertainment. “Latin America continues to be a strong market for us across all genres.”
