E1 Enters into Agreement with Here Films & Regent

NEW YORK: E1 Entertainment has been named exclusive DVD distributor for Here Films and Regent Releasing titles in the U.S. and Canada through August 2012.

E1 will release an average of four titles per month, including home-video releases of Here Film’s U.S. theatrically-released world cinema and LGBT-focused films, as well as TV series from Here! TV, a premium cable network offering programming that appeals to a gay and lesbian audience. The deal takes effect immediately with the release of Departures, the 2008 Academy Award-winner for Best Foreign Language Film. Upcoming titles for 2010 include I Killed My Mother, The Magic Flute, Eyes Wide Open and About Elly.
