E! Unveils Application for Nokia Smartphone

LOS ANGELES: As part of its E! Everywhere initiative, E! Entertainment Television will make its content available on demand via the Web TV application on the new Nokia N8 Smartphone in EMEA.

“E! has established itself of one of the world’s most recognized entertainment TV brands,” said Duccio Donati, executive VP of Comcast International Media Group. “We’re dedicated to making our signature E! News content available to our global fan base anywhere and at any time, including via the latest smartphone technology by Nokia.”

Available in Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific, the Nokia 8 E! widget will deliver E! News Now clips for free. For a monthly subscription, Nokia users can access long-form programming via a SVOD service. The Nokia N8 will be available in select markets during the third quarter of this year.
