DRG, Titan in Deal for Formats

LONDON: DRG has inked a deal to represent the formats from Swedish production outfit Titan and its Norwegian sister company Limelight Film & TV.

Titan and Limelight’s credits include Charter Fever, The Unusuals and 112: When Emergency Strikes. Titles that DRG will be showcasing at MIPTV include Celebrity Babysitter, created for NRK1, My Perfect Vacation, a TV3 Sweden prime-time show, and Room for a Star, also for TV3 in Sweden.

Announcing the first-look and distribution deal, Andrea Jackson, managing director of acquisitions at DRG, noted, “Titan and Limelight are two of Europe’s most exciting format companies. This new partnership will include the MIPTV launch of three major new titles, including the fantastic Celebrity Babysitter, which challenges the nation’s biggest stars out of their comfort zone. The partnership will also see DRG co-funding and developing new formats together, with a focus on key prime-time demographics. Their expertise, passion and creativity is exceptional and I’m confident we are going to achieve great things together.”
