DRG, Talent Television Team Up

LONDON: Digital Rights Group (DRG) has signed a first-look deal with indie producer Talent Television, and will present How Clean is Your Crime Scene as its first title from the new two-year deal.

The 10×1-hour series explores the lives of those involved in a cleaning business with a difference. From the simple mess left by a decomposing corpse to the more challenging remains of a gunshot wound to the head, no job is too small, big or bloody for these crime-scene cleaners. The title will officially launch this April at MIPTV.

Also as part of the agreement, Digital Rights Group will sell the format Everybody Dance Now. Housed under DRG’s Zeal Entertainment, this Saturday night extravaganza for ITV1 showcases the popular and catchy hits. Along with the performers of each dance tune, a slew of on-stage dancers will show viewers at home how it’s done.

In addition, there are a number of scripted projects from Talent being developed at Portman, also part of the Digital Rights Group.

Jeremy Fox, the CEO of Digital Rights Group, said, "We’re delighted to have a first-look deal with Talent Television. The nature of DRG’s boutique setup with expert sellers across all genres makes it the ideal home for Talent TV’s catalogue which contains a wide range of entertainment, factual and kid’s television programs and formats."

Tony Humphreys, the managing director of Talent Television, added, "Digital Rights Group has an experienced and energetic team whom we very much looking forward to working with. This deal reflects the strength and potential global appeal of our development slate which we are confident DRG will exploit with vigour."
