Dori to Present Ladronas at NATPE

BUENOS AIRES: Ladronas leads off Dori Media Group’s NATPE highlights, which also includes Date Blind

Ladronas is an action series that tells the story of widowed Emma Blinder, who is shocked to discover that her deceased husband, a prominent judge, was in fact a corrupt man. Determined to right his wrongs, she recruits three attractive women who are professional thieves to help her. In each episode, the women embark on risky yet comical tasks.

Dori is also showcasing Ciega a Citas (Date Blind), which was already sold to seven countries in two months since its launch. Date Blind is a co-production of Dori Media Contenidos and Rosstoc, and is inspired by the original blog from the Argentinean author Carolina Aguirre, who chronicles in real time the life of Lucía, a 31-year-old journalist.

Also on the roster is Mía, Mi Amiga Invisible (Mia: My Invisible Friend), a daily fiction for children and family audiences that tells the story of Mia, an invisible friend, who magically becomes a teenager so she can save a little girl from losing all hope. There’s also Pilots’ Wives, a new daily drama revolving around the lives of fighter pilots and their families. Further titles on Dori’s slate include uMan, a multiplatform control game; Split, a teen vampire telenovela; Amando O, a cross-platform novela; and Champs 12, which has already sold into 19 countries in 10 months.

Nadav Palti, the president and CEO of Dori Media Group, said, "After witnessing how well our new products were received in MIPCOM, we are excited to arrive to NATPE and offer our clients these universal productions. Along with two new titles that will be exclusively introduced at NATPE, Ladronas and Pilots’ Wives, we are certain that buyers from all over the world will be able to find the best product to feet their programming needs."
