Dori Media Scores Output Deal with Televisa

BUENOS AIRES, May 6: Dori Media Group (DMG) has entered into
a five-year output deal with Grupo Televisa worth about $7.2 million, with
contractual options expected to increase the value of the agreement to $9.5
million.

The deal covers broadcasting and format rights in Latin
America and Europe to various telenovelas worth $3.45 million with contractual
options expected to increase the value of the deal to $5.75 million. In
addition, both parties have committed to an output deal for five years worth
US$3.75 million.

Under the terms of the output deal, Televisa will purchase
five Dori Media titles, with one title being delivered to the Mexican
broadcaster each year between 2009 and 2013. Televisa will also be given first
refusal to the rights of Dori Media titles in Mexico.

Nadav
Palti, the CEO and president of DMG, commented: “We are delighted to
announce this very important deal with Televisa. Strategically, this is a very
significant deal for Dori Media Group and it marks the continuation and
strengthening of the partnership with Televisa. The deal presents DMG also with
high potential of ancillary revenues and the opportunity to further strengthen
its position in key Latin American telenovela markets and Europe, proving that
there continues to be an extremely strong demand for DMG titles in the region.
We look forward to updating the market on further deals closed at the recent
MIPTV event, where our belief in the increasing global demand for telenovelas
was vindicated once again.”
