Dori Media Founder Retires

BUENOS AIRES,
April 3: Dori Media Group’s (DMG) founder and executive vice chairman, Yair
Dori, will retire from DMG as a full-time employee and executive, effective
immediately.

The terms of his
retirement are subject to shareholder approval at the next extraordinary
general meeting. Dori, a shareholder of Dori Media Group, will continue to
advise the company as a non-executive director on DMG’s board and as the
company’s vice chairman. He will also provide consultancy services to DMG for
the next two years.

Dori, who is 61 years old,
founded the company in 1996 and has served as the vice chairman of the board of
directors and executive director in charge of external affairs of DMG. He will
still be taking part with DMG at MIPTV next week.

“I
have enjoyed the fulfillment of creating a media group that has successfully
introduced Latin America’s most popular TV genre and series to Israel and the
rest of the World,” commented Dori. “Over the last 12 years, Dori Media Group
has grown to become a leading and global telenovela company with a solid
management team in place. After thoughtful consideration, I have therefore
elected to retire from my day to day commitments with DMG and will continue to
advise the company in my new functions as a consultant and a non-executive
director.”

Nadav
Palti, the CEO and president of DMG, commented: “We are most grateful for
Yair Dori’s dedication, support and outstanding contribution to Dori Media and
the industry as a whole. It has been a privilege to work with him. He is an
ambassador of the Argentinean culture in Israel and through his passion for
telenovela, he has allowed our company to build a strong business generating
fast-growing revenues. We wish him all the best in his retirement and look forward
to benefiting from his advice as the company’s vice chairman as we continue
with our ambitious plans for Dori Media’s future.”
