MIAMI/TEL AVIV: Dori Media Group has sold the dramatic game-show format Wrong Number to SBT in Brazil and three seasons of Split to a network in Italy.

Wrong Number is a game show produced by Tanin Productions, creator of Crocodile Productions. The show was launched at MIPCOM. It features a randomly chosen pedestrian who is asked to call the contact from his phone he least wants to speak with. They will both then take part in a game show, working together to accumulate a cash prize, then they will compete against each other to win the sum.

Split was originally produced for the Israeli cable platform HOT’s VOD service. The first 45×30-minute season aired on The Children’s Channel. The second season was produced by Dori Media Darset for Noga Communications. Dori Media presented the third season, Split 3: The Real Story, at MIPCOM. The third installment was produced by Dori Media Darset for Ananey Communications and HOT’s VOD.

Nadav Palti, the president and CEO of Dori Media Group, commented: “We are delighted with the sale of our new format Wrong Number and Split 3: The Real Story, which have just been launched at MIPCOM 2011. Our fresh new entertaining formats and dramas have attracted a lot of attention during the first days of the MIPCOM 2011 and our content continues to attract buyers from across the globe, as the recent sale of Wrong Number to the third major channel in Brazil demonstrates. We expect this game show to be sold to many more countries, particularly if, as we expect, it proves to be a success in Brazil.”

Gili Golan, the CEO of Tanin Productions, added: "Tanin Productions has proved over the years that a smart game show, with an interesting twist has a worldwide appeal regardless of its origin. We are pleased to continue working with Dori Media and are delighted with their distribution and promotional capabilities.”
