BERLIN: EuroArts Music International and NHK have produced a charity concert to benefit the March 11 earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan, and will start worldwide TV and DVD distribution of the event, donating the revenue to the Japanese Red Cross.

The Berlin Philharmonic and Japanese conductor Yutaka Sado performed in concert together for the first time and donated the proceeds to Japan. The show took place at the Berlin Philharmonie on May 20.

Revenue from the TV and DVD distribution is going to a section of the Red Cross, “Japan: Earthquake and Tsunami,” and will be distributed to those affected.
