MIAMI: Dori Media Group will be on hand at the Asia TV Forum (ATF) with a catalogue that covers telenovelas, formats and drama series for a range of audiences.

Among the highlights is the romantic comedy Date Blind, a co-production of Dori Media Contenidos and Rosstoc. The series has already been sold in 30 territories. A further highlight is the multiplatform reality format uMan, sold to 15 territories. Dori will also be presenting the teen series Diggers, the reality game show Simon and the new action series Beautiful Thieves.

Also on offer is a second season of Split, the first season of which sold to more than 60 countries around the world. The first season ranked as one of the top three most-watched shows from Boomerang in Latin America within cable for girls 12 to 17 in Mexico. In Argentina, the series outperformed Boomerang’s prime-time Monday to Friday average by more than 220 percent among cable with girls 12 to 17. In Brazil, the series ranked on the top five most-watched list for Boomerang in the same demo.

Andres Santos, the VP of sales at Dori Media America, noted: "These high rating results prove that Split is truly a cross boundaries program thanks to its high production standards, neutral looking cast, intriguing characters and engaging story line. Additionally, the fact that the show deals with one of the most popular trends among teenagers today—vampires, has greatly contributes to the show’s worldwide success. Consequently, because of these positive results, we are looking to bring Split to the Latin American terrestrial channels that have yet to acquire the series; for that matter we are confident Split will also continue to show strong results in Asia parallel to those achieved throughout the world."
