Distraction to Showcase Green Formats at MIPTV

MONTREAL, March 26:
Distraction has added two eco-friendly formats to its current catalogue, Farmers’
Almanac TV
and Go For Green!, which will both be available for international
buyers at MIPTV in April.

Farmers’ Almanac TV is
a magazine-style series that provides insight into green America, featuring
compelling stories from all around the country. Each 30-minute episode focuses
on sustainability and conservation with a mix of fascinating personalities,
unique events and admirable endeavors that span dozens of varied lifestyle
categories. The series has aired in the U.S. on PBS for two years and was
renewed for a third season.

Go For Green! is a game-show format that sees contestants
compete against each other, as individuals or in teams, in a number of
green-related tasks. Participants are tested on their knowledge and awareness
of the environment, as well as on their commitment and skills in making our
world more sustainable.

The two acquisitions join
other green formats in Distraction’s catalogue such as Eco-House: The
Challenge
and How Clean is Your
Planet?
Eco-House: The
Challenge
has sold into France,
Canada and Latin America.
