MONTREAL, September 17:
Distraction has signed an exclusive first-look deal with Finnish production
outfit Aito Media to represent its format catalogue, which includes Teen
Revolution
and The Road Debate.

A total of ten formats,
including Granny for Hire, Talk
Fight
and Fancy Facades, were included in the deal. Other formats include Teen
Revolution

allows the youth of today to step into a range of high-powered positions, and The
Road Debate

that combines a relaxed setting with a controversial and topical debate between
two participating candidates.

The deal also gives Aito
Media the first-look rights for non-scripted Distraction formats in Finland.

The new venture with this young Finnish production
house brings with it a fresh enthusiasm for developing new, cutting-edge
formats,” said Distraction’s CEO, Michel Rodrigue. “The possibilities that have
opened up with this creative team are endless. Distraction is confident that
they have founded a great partnership for the future, as Finland has always
been a good resource for ideas.”
