Distraction Mines Clips Catalogue

MONTREAL, September 13: Distraction is launching two shows
derived from its Funny Home Video (FHV) library, comprising more than 13,500
clips divided into 13 categories.

“Funny Home Video clips are the most versatile form of TV
entertainment as they can be inserted in all types of programs, from news and
documentaries to comedy and interstitials,” says Michel Rodrigue, the president
and CEO of Distraction.

World’s Funniest Home Videos and Comedy of Errors
have been created from the FHV library. The first 26 episodes of Comedy
of Errors
have been sold in numerous
countries, including Belgium, where it reached 38-percent market share. A
second series, already on the air in France on M6, has been produced and will
be available at MIPCOM. World’s Fakest Home Videos is a format that challenges the audience to spot the
fake clip hidden within each round. “It is one of Distraction’s objectives to
launch a new format created from our Funny Home Video library every year and I
am appealing to format devisors worldwide to come up with proposals,” Rodrigue
says.
