Disney Launches First Jetix-Branded SVOD Service in Asia

SINGAPORE, August 30: Walt
Disney Television International has launched the
kids-targeted SVOD service Jetix On Demand in Singapore on SingTel’s new pay-TV
service mio TV.

This marks the launch of the first Jetix-branded SVOD
service in Asia. Priced at S$6.42 a month, Jetix On Demand is one of nine
channels on mio TV’s slate of RENT-A-PACK channels. The service showcases 20
hours of original Jetix content with a 25-percent monthly refresh rate. Aimed
at kids aged 6 to 14, Jetix On Demand will include original Jetix shows such as
W.I.T.C.H., Get Ed, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!, and A.T.O.M. (Alpha Teens on Machines).
More animated series such as Pucca and
Yin Yang Yo! will be available on
Jetix On Demand in the near future.
