Disney Channel Names Regional Programming Director

LONDON, September 24:
Disney Channel has promoted Matt Robson to programming director for Scandinavia
and emerging markets, where he will oversee programming, scheduling and local
productions for the network and the Playhouse Disney block.

Robson will report to
Casper Björner, the VP and general manager for Disney Channels in the region.
Robson joined The Walt Disney Company in 1999 and has been working for Disney
Channel since its launch in Scandinavia in 2003. He was a central member of the
team that launched Disney Channel in Poland, South Africa, the Middle East,
Turkey, Malta and Serbia.

“We’re delighted to have
promoted Matt Robson to this role,” Björner said. “He has gained a wealth of
experience over the last few years and will be a huge asset in building the
Disney Channel brand in Scandinavia and across the emerging markets.”
