DAIT Shuffles Asia-Pacific Team

HONG KONG: Disney-ABC International Television (DAIT) Asia Pacific has expanded and reorganized its television distribution sales team to support growth in the region. 

 

Led by Greg Johnson, the VP of program distribution at DAIT Asia Pacific, the new roles will focus on the developing markets of Greater China, India and South East Asia. Manju Nair has been named associate director of program distribution, and will be based in Mumbai. Prior to joining DAIT, Nair worked for Star India as assistant VP of content syndication, managing the distribution of domestic and international content. Beibei Fan has been appointed as director of sales for Greater China, based in Shanghai. Prior to joining DAIT, Fan worked at Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. as director of sales for Greater China.

Amit Malhotra has been appointed regional director of sales for Pan Asia and Southeast Asia, and will be working across all platforms, including new media, regional pay platforms and local free-to-air partners. Emma Hu, who has been with DAIT for six years, is to serve as senior manager of sales for Southeast Asia. Robert Tam, who joined DAIT two years ago, takes on responsibilities as assistant manager of sales development for Pan Asia and Southeast Asia.
