Corus Sets Executive Leadership Team

TORONTO: Corus Entertainment has established a new executive leadership team (ELT), which includes Colin Bohm, the executive VP and head of Corus Kids.

Under Doug Murphy, the president and CEO, the ELT will be comprised of Murphy's direct reports, as well as Judy Adam, Corus' VP of finance, who reports to the chief financial officer. This includes Bohm, who will oversee all aspects of Corus' kids' business.

Also included in the new structure are Mario Cecchini, the executive VP and president of Corus Radio and Corus Média; Scott Dyer, the executive VP and chief technology officer and president of Nelvana; Maria Hale, the executive VP and head of content distribution and pay television; Gary Maavara, the executive VP and general counsel; John MacDonald, the executive VP and head of Corus Women and Family; Gerry Mackrell, the executive VP and head of airtime sales; Kathleen McNair, the executive VP and special advisor to the CEO and chief integration officer; Tom Peddie, the executive VP and chief financial officer; and Susan Schaefer, the executive VP and head of marketing and corporate communications.

Murphy said: "We are excited about the year ahead. In July, our board of directors approved Corus' strategic plan and the ELT will execute upon this clear strategic framework to return the company to growth in the coming years."
