Coolabi & King Rollo Partner for Poppy Cat Series

LONDON: Coolabi has named King Rollo Films as its animation partner for the 52×11-minute Poppy Cat series.

The show is based on the world of Poppy Cat, a character created by Lara Jones in a series of books that have sold more than 2 million copies. The new series is slated to air on Nick Jr. in the U.K. in 2011.

Leo Nielsen, owner and co-founder of King Rollo Films, said: “We are delighted to be co-producing the Poppy Cat series with Coolabi. The charming characters and the fantastic painterly world they inhabit will be a great source of inspiration to all of us during the production of the TV series.”
