Content Media Taps Tom Bairstow for Sales & Distribution Post

LONDON/LOS ANGELES: Tom Bairstow, who has been with Sony Pictures Television since 2014, is joining Content Media Corporation as VP of sales and distribution.

Based in London, Bairstow will manage the company’s film and TV sales across all platforms to French-speaking Europe and Africa, Japan, Asia, Israel and the Middle East. He will report to Jonathan Ford, Content’s executive VP of sales and distribution. Bairstow comes to Content from Sony Pictures Television, where he served as executive director of distribution for the Nordics and Benelux.

Additionally, Vicky Ryan has been promoted to executive VP of commercial affairs and Jennifer Brinkworth to executive VP of marketing and communications. Both roles continue to report to Greg Phillips, the president of distribution.
