CME Appoints New CFO

HAMILTON: Central European Media Enterprises (CME) has named David Sach as chief financial officer, taking over from Charles Frank, who has been serving in an interim role since July.

Sachs joins CME from serving as CFO at Clearwire. Prior to this, Sach held the chief financial officer role at Millicom International Cellular. He also held several senior finance roles at France Telecom, EMI Group and Thomson Professional Publishing.

“David is a great addition to our senior management team,” said Adrian Sarbu, the president and CEO of CME. “His experience in technology and media companies and strategic financial management make him an excellent fit for us, and I look forward to working with him to build CME in 2010 and beyond. I would also like to thank Charles Frank for his contribution over the last eight months as interim CFO.”
