Cineflix Sells 500 Hours into Scandinavia

LONDON: Cineflix International has secured deals on more than 500 hours of programming in Scandinavia over the past six months, including Eat Yourself Sexy selling to MTV Finland, TV3 in Norway and TV4 in Sweden.

Cineflix now represents all five seasons in the Border Security franchise. It also recently acquired the U.S. version, known as Homeland Security, which was produced for ABC. Known internationally as Border Security USA, the show has sold to TV2 Demark, Viasat 4 Norway, Nelonen Finland and Kanal 5 Sweden. TV2 Denmark also went for the original’s seasons one through four, Channel Four in Finland went for two through four and Kanal 5 AB in Sweden took one through five. TV Norge in Norway also picked up the original series, taking on seasons one through three.

The Unsellables, which recently aired on BBC One, was acquired by TV Norge in Norway and Channel Four Finland. World’s Greenest Homes had its first season snapped up by TV Puls in Denmark with the second season heading to TV Norge in Norway and Kanal 5 AB in Sweden.

In the way of multiplatform content, Cooler Facts, a collection of six episodes or 38 shorts, was picked up by Channel Four in Finland and NRK in Norway to use as interstitials.
