CIMG Names International Marketing VP

LOS ANGELES, March 3: Lee
Raftery has been appointed as the VP of international marketing for Comcast
International Media Group (CIMG).

Based in the company’s Los
Angeles headquarters, Raftery will lead CIMG’s global marketing teams in the
U.S., the U.K. and Hong Kong. Raftery will also be responsible for the
development of international marketing strategies and plans for CIMG’s channel
properties, which include E!, The Style Network, G4, Versus and The Golf
Channel, program sales, as well as digital and new-media content outside the
U.S.

Raftery arrives at CIMG
from the global toy company Hasbro, where he spent 10 years in various
senior-level marketing positions.

In his new role, Raftery
will report to both Kevin
MacLellan, the president of CIMG, and Suzanne Kolb, the executive VP of
marketing and communications at E! and The Style Network.

marketing activities," said MacLellan. "Considering the division’s
major expansion of late, it is the perfect time to welcome Lee to our team. He
possesses the sound experience and proven track record to help catapult CIMG to
even greater levels of success."

leading marketing activities in over 160 countries, and further building the E!
and The Style Network brands on a global scale. Also, under Kevin's leadership,
Lee will focus on developing such emerging brands as G4, The Golf Channel and
Versus for Comcast International Media Group."
