Channel 4 Leads RTS Journalism Nods

LONDON: Channel 4 secured a total of 13 nominations for the RTS Television Journalism Awards, followed by the BBC and ITV, which nabbed 11 each.

Another outlet that fared well is Sky News, which was shortlisted in eight categories, including News Channel of the Year, where it is up against BBC News and Al Jazeera English. Awards will be presented February 23 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Nominated programs include C4’s Dispatches: Politicians For Hire, BBC One’s Panorama: Kids in Care and BBC Two’s Five Days That Changed Britain for Current Affairs—Home; and BBC Two’s The Wounded Plato and Secret Iraq and Sky News’s Libya: The Stolen Children for Current Affairs—International.
