TEL AVIV: HBO Central Europe is developing its own versions of the Israeli drama format When Shall We Kiss, after inking a deal with Armoza Formats.

Created and penned by Dalit Kahan, the Israeli drama originated on Channel 10 and follows several intersecting story lines about modern relationships. "I was drawn to When Shall We Kiss for the inherent truths expressed in the drama," said Marc Lorber, senior VP of original programming and production and executive producer at HBO Central Europe. "The show’s witty, comedic writing, the unexpected plot twists, and the overall message about the human condition and our need for love blend fluidly into one incredible drama series. We are excited to express these aspects in a local production, fine-tuning the series toward our central European viewers."

Avi Armoza, CEO of Armoza Formats, added: "We have found the perfect match in HBO Central Europe to bring this dark, vivid drama to an international audience. Their extraordinary productions and dedication to producing daring TV drama will allow them to accurately and honestly translate When Shall We Kiss into a show that will touch audiences across the CEE region."
