CCI Embarks on Seven-Picture Rollout

TORONTO, January 21: CCI Entertainment has committed to a
seven-picture production slate with various global partners, kicking off with
the family movie Iron Road, scheduled
for release in early 2009.

Iron Road marks the
first co-production between Canada and China in 25 years, with the partnering
of CCI Entertainment, Alchemy Television, Anne Tait Productions, Massey
Productions and China Film House. Filmed in various locations from China to the
Rocky Mountains, Iron Road is a
story of forbidden love, set in the late 1800s against the backdrop of the
building of the North American transcontinental railroad. Peter O’Toole and Sam
Neill lead the cast. The film is produced by Mainland Productions and Iron Road
Productions in association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and with
the financial participation of the COGECO Program Development Fund, the Shaw
Rocket Fund and the Canadian Television Fund.

Next up will be The Connor Rourke Chronicles, a series of family adventure movies co-produced by
CCI and Nearly Normal Productions. The Myth of Gaia and The Spear Destiny follow a girl and her father on adventures
surrounding precious metals and an ancient spear with mystical powers.
Production for both movies is slated for the late fall of this year in Buenos
Aires, with delivery set for spring 2009.

CCI has also received a commissioned script for No
Mountain Too High
, based on the book of the
same name written by Ned Levitt with a screenplay by Dennis Foon. The film is
set in Mexico and Canada.
