CCI Bolsters Sales Team

TORONTO: Federico Vargas has been promoted at CCI Entertainment to director of sales for Latin America, Iberia and the territories of Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA).

Vargas will work across all genres, including film. With this promotion, he will be leading the sales efforts at DISCOP later this month.

Having joined the company in 2005 to manage distribution operations Vargas made the move to sales in 2008. In his new role, Vargas reports to Rekha Shah, the VP of distribution and co-productions.

“Federico has bolstered sales in Latin America, having developed strong and long standing relationships. We firmly believe that he will strengthen our efforts across Iberia and the CEEMEA territories,” said Shah. “We are thrilled to also have Federico lead our sales efforts in the feature film arena—where we will be attending TIFF, AFM and EFM this year. Federico will be a vital part of this growth strategy going forward.”
