CBS Unveils Fall Premiere Plans

BURBANK, August 2: CBS
will roll out season premieres for 20 of 22 series during the week of September
18, the network announced today, following earlier launches for Survivor:
Cook Islands
and The Amazing
Race
.

The newest Survivor installment kicks off September 14 in its usual
Thursday 8 p.m. slot, while season ten of The Amazing Race opens with a 90-minute premiere on Sunday,
September 17 at 8:30 p.m.

The new season officially
begins September 18 with the debut of The Class at 8 p.m., followed by the returning How I Met
Your Mother
, Two and a Half Men, The New Adventures of Old Christine and season five of CSI: Miami. Tuesday, September 19 kicks off with season four
of NCIS, leading into The
Unit
and then the new drama Smith, presented with limited commercial interruption.
Wednesday, September 20, leads off with the new drama Jericho, followed by season two of Criminal Minds and season three of CSI: NY. Thursday, September 21 will mark the seventh
season premiere of CSI,
followed by the premiere of Shark.
Ghost Whisperer returns on
September 20 with Close to Home
and Numb3rs. CBS's Sunday
lineup returns on September 22 with the 39th season premiere of 60 Minutes, the time period premiere (8 p.m.) of The
Amazing Race 10
, the fourth season
premiere of Cold Case in its
new 9 p.m. slot and the fifth season debut of Without A Trace, also making its new time period premiere at 10
p.m.
