CBS Interactive Names Strategy, Corporate Development VP

NEW YORK, December 20: Former Yahoo! executive Michael Marquez
has been named VP of strategy and corporate development for CBS Interactive.

CBS Interactive is a recently launched division that
oversees the interactive strategies at all of CBS Corporation’s businesses. It
is run by Quincy Smith as president, who joined the network last month from
Allen & Company.

Marquez, who most recently served as director of corporate
development for Yahoo!, will work with Smith to help set the division's overall
strategy, as well as with chief development officer Joseph Ianniello, to
initiate investments and acquisitions. He will be based in San Francisco.

"This is a huge win for CBS," said Smith.
"Mike has had a front row seat to most of the M&A and investment
activity in Silicon Valley in the past couple of years. His relationships with
the venture capital and entrepreneurial community will be invaluable as we
continue to shape CBS's Interactive strategy."
