CBS Corp. Names CTO

NEW YORK: Doug Rousso has been appointed as chief technology officer for the CBS Corporation, a newly created position in which he will oversee infrastructure technologies across the company.

Rousso joins CBS on Monday and will report to Joseph Ianniello, executive VP and CFO. He was most recently senior VP and CTO of global information services at CA Technologies. He also previously held positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment, NBC and Dreamworks, among others.

"As the media landscape evolves, the role of the Chief Technology Officer becomes more and more important," said Ianniello. "In Doug, we are bringing on board a results-driven executive who understands how to leverage technology to the business needs of a company like ours and he will elevate the impact of this vital function inside CBS Corporation.
