CBS Announces Fall Premiere Dates

NEW YORK, June 27: CBS has
scheduled the fall premieres for its new and returning series, with a preseason
debut for Survivor: Gabon.

The 17th installment of
the hit Survivor franchise will
debut a week prior to the formal start of the season, returning to the network
on September 18 at 8 p.m.

CBS’s new season rollout
officially begins on Monday, September 22, with the return of The Big Bang
Theory
at 8 p.m., followed by the
premiere episode of How I Met Your Mother’s fourth season, Two and a Half Men’s sixth season and the seventh-season premiere of CSI:
Miami
.

NCIS launches its sixth season on Tuesday, September 23,
at 8 p.m. The freshman drama The Mentalist kicks off at 9 p.m., followed by Without a Trace, which is in its seventh season, at 10 p.m.

The Wednesday night comedy
block rolls out September 24 with the fourth season of The New Adventures of
Old Christine
. The new series Project
Gary
debuts at 8:30 p.m., followed
by the return of Criminal Minds,
entering its fourth season, and CSI: NY, launching its fifth-season premiere at 10 p.m.

The long-running
newsmagazine 60 Minutes enters
its 41st season on Sunday, September 28, at 7 p.m., followed by The
Amazing Race
, in its 13th season.
The sixth season of Cold Case launches
at 9 p.m., with The Unit heading
into its fourth season at 10 p.m.

October 3 marks the return
of Ghost Whisperer, with its
season-four premiere at 8 p.m., while the new drama The Ex List debuts at 9 p.m. Numb3rs enters its fifth season at 10 p.m.

The ninth season of CSI:
Crime Scene Investigation
kicks
off on Thursday, October 9, at 9 p.m., followed by the launch of the freshman
drama Eleventh Hour.
