Cast Members Added for New Season of Grachi

MIAMI: Venezuelan actors Maria Gabriela de Faria and Willy Martin have joined the cast of the Nickelodeon Latin America telenovela Grachi, which has a second season in the works.

Grachi’s second season will be shot in Miami in July and is to premiere throughout the region in 2012 with 50 one-hour episodes. The story focuses on a young girl learning to use her magical powers.

The new season will feature other new characters who have not yet been announced, along with the original cast: Isabella Castillo, Andrés Mercado and Kimberly Dos Ramos, among others.

“After the incredible success of Grachi, we are very excited to have Maria Gabriela and Willy working with Nickelodeon once again to bring our fans this wonderful second season,” said Tatiana Rodriguez, the senior VP of programming and creative strategy for Nickelodeon Latin America. “We are committed to offering our audience content and characters they can identify with, and we are certain that these new episodes will continue to captivate them.”
