Canamedia Secures International Deals

Canamedia sold the 13×30-minute series The Aviators to Discovery UK, Europe and Discovery Asia; Television New Zealand, Turner Latin America and Ananey in Israel picked up the 8×30-minute series 4REAL TV. Fox India went for Key West Time, the 13×30-minute series and Island Vets, an 8×30-minute series, was picked up by Horse and Country TV in the U.K.

When the Devil Knocks, an hour-long special, was picked up by SVT in Sweden. The one-hour documentary Faces of a Vanishing World was purchased by The Arts Channel in New Zealand and more than 400 hours of lifestyle programming, including Good Dog, Underwater Safari and Homes by Design, were picked up by TUFF TV in the U.S.

“We are extremely pleased at the performance of our factual titles this year, and are excited to bring a wealth of new series and docs to MIPCOM, including new original Canamedia productions,” said Andrea Stokes, Canamedia’s international sales manager.
