CAKE Sells Kids’ Shows to ABC TV

LONDON: A package of 80 hours of kids’ programming from the catalogue of CAKE Entertainment is headed to ABC TV in Australia.

The deal includes Fresh TV’s tween series Stoked, Total Drama Action and Total Drama World Tour. King Arthur’s Disasters and Edgar and Ellen landed renewals. These animated series will air on ABC1 and also on ABC TV’s new digital channel ABC3.

Ed Galton, the managing director of CAKE Distribution, commented: “We’re delighted to reinforce our relationship with ABC TV through the sale of these series; these are some of our most loved properties, and we look forward to seeing the reception our catalogue gains on the other side of the world. 80 hours is a significant number and an indication of the high quality of programming which we take to all corners of the globe.”
