CAKE Adds to Animation Catalogue

LONDON: The worldwide distribution rights for the animated series Tom & the Slice of Bread with Strawberry Jam & Honey are now held by CAKE.

The 52×5-minute series targets children ages 3 to 6. It was created by Andreas Kykade, and is a Studio Film Bilder, SWR, BR and WDR co-production, airing on KI.KA in Germany since 2005. The series takes place is a magical world, in which the character of Tom finds himself on a quest for a delicious slice of bread with strawberry jam and honey. On his adventure to find this treat, Tom is always running into new characters.

The title will be featured in CAKE’s MIPTV catalogue, alongside The Sparticle Mystery, Eliot Kid season two, Poppy Cat and Oscar’s Oasis.
