BETHPAGE, August 24: Cablevision has added the iO Chinese
package featuring three in-language networks—The Chinese Channel (Sino
TV), ET Global NY, and CCTV-4—to its iO International digital cable
service.

Available across Cablevision’s service area in New York, the
iO Chinese package will be available for $14.95 per month to all Family Cable
customers and above and for $24.95 per month to Broadcast Basic customers who
have a Scientific Atlanta digital cable set-top box. All three services will
also be offered as individual channel selections for $9.95 per month.

ET Global NY is a Mandarin Chinese channel from Taiwan that
focuses on general entertainment, news and local content. CCTV-4, from China
Central Television (CCTV), is China's largest provider of cultural, news and
entertainment programming, primarily in Mandarin, but includes regular

locally produced content and programming from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, in
Mandarin and Cantonese.

“The addition of iO Chinese is a meaningful expansion of our
iO International programming service and further demonstrates Cablevision's
leadership position in the delivery of in-language programming to our diverse
customer base,” said John Trierweiler, Cablevision's senior VP of product
management. "We are pleased to make this package available to our customers
for the first time, and along with Optimum Voice World Call, our innovative
flat-rate international calling plan, we think it will have broad appeal to our
Chinese customers."

iO offers customers access to more than 240 channels,
including 50 premium movie channels, 45 channels of commercial-free digital
music, more than 1,800 titles available on demand, an interactive programming
