Cablevision Adds ESPN2 HD to Hi-Def Lineup

BETHPAGE/BRISTOL, December 21: ESPN2 HD is now available as part of Cablevision’s high-definition programming lineup—which features 45 HD services—to iO TV customers at no additional charge.

The 24-hour high-definition simulcast service of ESPN2 is available across Cablevision’s service area on iO TV channel 735. ESPN2 HD features the NASCAR Busch Series, MLB, NCAA college football and basketball, boxing, Little League World Series, X Games, golf, tennis, FIFA World Cup, MLS and more. The network’s morning programming includes an HD simulcast of ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning, as well as First Take, an ESPN2 series featuring sports news with discussion, newsmaker interviews and features, which will be produced in high-definition to run as a two-hour weekday broadcast at 10 a.m.
