CABLEready Locks In New Deals

NORWALK: A raft of new agreements have been signed by CABLEready, which inked deals with Foxtel, NBC Latin America, Discovery Latin America and Televisio de Catalunya, among others.

Foxtel in Australia went for Inside the Actors Studio, while NBC Latin America picked up ten additional episodes of Hollywood Dailies. Discovery Latin America opted for Women Addicted to Sex, Munchausen Moms and Women in Fear. In China, Happy Movie licensed the weekly series Hollywood’s Top Ten. Turner Latin America bagged the third season of Women Behind Bars as well as Hollywood One on One. Spain’s Televisio de Catalunya picked up Epic Conditions. TV4 of Sweden secured a three-year output deal with CABLEready that includes 75 hours of programming per year for Scandinavia. It also licensed 30 additional hours for the 2010 output deal, which included season 14 of Forensic Files.

In other news from CABLEready, Tatiana Figueiredo has been promoted to director of sales. Figueiredo will be attending ATF with CABLEready. She continues her responsibility for sales to Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America.
