CABLEready Inks Raft of Deals at MIPCOM

CANNES, October 9:
CABLEready has closed three new broadcast deals at MIPCOM for its factual
entertainment catalogue with Scandinavia’s NonStop Television, Zone Reality and
Spain’s La Sexta.

Scandinavia’s NonStop
Television has acquired The Fashion Team, worldwide broadcaster Zone Reality closed a multi-territory deal for
six programs and Spain’s La Sexta has renewed Forensic Files, a series it has licensed over the past year.

The agreement with Zone
Reality encompasses multiple territories and includes the network’s channel
feeds in the U.K./Ireland, Latin America, Asia/Pacific and Europe/Middle
East/Africa. Programs included under the deal are Dominick Dunne’s Power,
Privilege and Justice, Paramedics, Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, Shark
Chasers, Women on Death Row
and
the third season of Risk Takers.

NonStop Television’s
acquisition of The Fashion Team,
a series where top celebrity stylist David Evangelista and comedian Daphne
Brogdon look at the worlds of fashion and celebrity, adds to the company’s
slate of TV Guide programming which includes Live Red Carpet Coverage,
InFANity
and Ready Set Change.

Additionally, La Sexta
picked up a renewal for Forensic Files, a series inspired by CSI,
where each episode profiles interesting crimes using science to solve the case.
