TORONTO: Breakthrough Entertainment is launching Greatest Naval Battles, a follow-up to the documentary series Greatest Tank Battles.

Greatest Naval Battles is comprised of ten one-hour episodes that cover 3,000 years of war at sea, featuring important naval battles that changed the world, from the time of the Egyptian pharaohs to the WWII and beyond. The series uses CGI animation and dramatic eye-witness accounts.

“Over the past few seasons, broadcasters have asked us what Breakthrough plans as a follow-up to our hugely successful Greatest Tank Battles documentary series,” said Nat Abraham, VP of distribution for Breakthrough Entertainment. “We are proud to unveil the answer: Greatest Naval Battles presents dramatic CGI animated true stories that cover an even greater scope, and deliver even more riveting, engaging entertainment. We are eager to bring this all-new addition in our documentary line-up to broadcasters worldwide.”
