Breakthrough Hires Head of Development, Production for Kids & Family

TORONTO: Breakthrough Entertainment has appointed Martha Sepulveda, a former Sinking Ship Entertainment exec, as the company's director of development and production for kids and family entertainment.

In her new role, Sepulveda will work out of Toronto under Joan Lambur, Breakthrough's executive VP of family entertainment. She will be responsible for expanding the company's kids and family development slate. She is expected to collaborate with established creative and production talent while also discovering and nurturing up-and-coming writers and artists.

Sepulveda served as a development manager and producer at Sinking Ship since 2011. During that time, she contributed to the production of such titles as Chirp, This Is Scarlett and Isaiah and Roll Play LIVE!

Lambur remarked: "Martha brings an outstanding track record of achievement and experience in kids and family entertainment to Breakthrough Entertainment.
